What you'll be doing:

• Network planning, architecture, optimization and thought leadership
• Identify and recommend network hardware, systems management software and 3rd party applications to attain optimal service capability
• Developing, establishing and continuously improving best practices, reference architectures and proactive management practices 
• Manage and lead large-scale projects delivering on budget and on schedule
• Maintain and keep applications operational 99.9% of the time
• Work within the guidelines of our change management process to conduct appropriate updates
• Document technical builds and configurations, service and administer account IDs and passwords to ensure business continuity
• Troubleshoot issues relating to network (LAN or WAN) software and hardware issues
• Share knowledge with peers to cultivate a team environment and maintain a high-level of professionalism

What you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent amount of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Network Architect or Sr. Network Engineer
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco, Extreme Networks/Avaya, and Citrix networking hardware 
• Deep understanding of MPLS, VPN, DMVPN, and BGP
• Strong background in proactive monitoring and alerting
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
