General Information

Responsibilities:

The .Net Developer is responsible for development and maintenance of medical coding and charging software applications and processes.  Responsibilities include rapid application development for high impact projects and interfaces using standard Microsoft .Net development tools, including C#, VB.Net, and SQL Server.  The .Net developer works closely with senior staff to learn all aspects of applications and process life cycles and strives for continuous improvement of software and workflows using Agile methodologies.

Required Skills:

  • 4 + years object-oriented development experience with C#
  • relational database experience preferably SQL 2012 or above, including writing and maintain stored procedures, queries and creating tables and schema, knowledge of schema normalization
  • effective listening and verbal communication skills
  • analyze, comprehend, and implement business rules
  • strong ability to work on multiple aspects of a complete system, including GUI development, rules development, backend interfacing development, workflow development and server processing

Desired Skills:

  • experience with MS Console, Winform, and Web applications
  • Experience with HTML language and programming
  • experience with Powershell a plus
  • experience with MVC Web development a plus
  • ability to independently research and troubleshoot problems

Job Summary

This developer role will primarily support numerous C# and SQL integrated data processing applications implementing precise workflow designs, to support high volume critical production applications.  The developer will follow all current standards and methodologies to maintain, extend, and unify applications as time permits and to design new applications as needs arise.  The role will secondarily support Winform and ASP.Net web applications with a longer-term goal of working with our development team to build new web applications and support applications using modern web development technology and design practices.
